Since my last visit to DA, I went to FMX 2011 in Stuttgart, Germany (a huge convention/conference based on Animation and the media) with Swansea Met Uni. On my first day there, Animal Logic, the team behind 'Legend Of The Guardians' were there doing a lecture on look development of the film.

It was brilliant and I've managed to grab a copy of the film (which I absolutely love, even though the story was your typical 'good conquers evil' film). Inspired by the studio's work, I decided to have a stab at modelling a Barn Owl (or the head at least), which I've got a few uploads of (including a Legend Of The Guardians influenced model and one with a prop).
